Former vice president Atiku Abubakar onFebruary 1st, 2016 spent time with children from his community at the launch of Technology Enhanced Learning for All (TELA) in Yola. TELA is an American University of Nigeria project, teaching basic literacy and numeracy to vulnerable children, sponsored by USAID, which will reportedly give about 20,000 refugee children valuable education.
